Parklane CRC offers ministries for the church and neighborhood that seek to advance God's kingdom and increase the common good of East Portland. Here is a list of the ministries we regularly participate in.
 

EVERYBODY – COME ONE, COME ALL!

Sunday School (All Ages) - 9:30 AM – Sunday school begins with a brief time of worship and prayer. We celebrate birthdays and collect an offering to support local ministries, such as those that fight trafficking. Following the worship time we go to our classes, which are divided into grades amongst students. For adults, we have two classes. The first is a bible study and the second focuses on relating our Christian faith to current cultural issues. Please note that our Sunday School runs during the school year, from September-June.

Sunday Worship - 11:00 AM and 6:00 PM - Our morning and evening worship services are designed to remind you of the gospel and root your life in Christ's love. You will experience a wide range of music, a gospel-centered sermon and a warm, family-like atmosphere. Nursery care is provided at both services. Please note that during the school year (September-June), we meet in house churches in place of the evening worship service. Contact us for more details.

NEIGHBORHOOD outreach

Oil Change – Three times per year, our parking lot becomes a sprawling oil change center. Feel free to call and get your name on the list to receive a free oil change. Appointments are scheduled in advance. Volunteers of all stripes are need to not only change oil, but to help check participants in, provide hospitality and refreshments, identify required filters, run for parts, shuttle cars around the lot, and more. We've been doing oil changes for over ten years and love this opportunity to serve and get to know our neighbors.
 

CHILDREN

WeBelongPDX - A free after school program available to students that foster the formation of trusted relationships, cultivate creative genius and help kids grow to be mentally well. Learn more about how you can get involved or support this ministry by contacting the church.
 

YOUTH AND YOUNG ADULTS

Parklane Youth is a collective of middle and high school students that meets on Wednesday nights. During our meetings we share fellowship, laughter, we play games, have a snack, receive a teaching from the Bible, and engage in small groups. At Parklane Youth we are focused on fostering a discipling community that grows in the way of Jesus. We are always welcoming in more friends from our neighborhood and we would love to meet you  

 

ADULTS

Coffee Break - is a women’s Bible study that meets Monday mornings at 9:30 and Monday evenings at 7:00 p.m. No previous bible study needed to participate.

Small Groups - are meeting regularly at various locations. Each group is unique in its mission and function. Contact Pastor Pete if you are interested in attending or beginning a new group.
